2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be legally able to use ErrandG and enter into agreements under applicable Nigerian law. ErrandG is built for campus communities.
A school email is not required. You select your campus when you join ErrandG.
You must provide a working email, a username, and a password. A profile photo is optional.
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity carried out through your account.
We may ask for additional information, such as your phone number or bank details, before you can receive payouts or use certain features.
We may suspend, restrict, or refuse an account if we reasonably believe that the information provided is false, the account is being misused, or the account poses a safety or security risk.
Personal data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
3. Nature of the Service
ErrandG is a campus platform that connects users who need errands completed with other users who can complete those errands as runners.
Typical errands include buying items, picking up orders, delivering items, and completing other permitted campus tasks. Features may vary by campus and over time.
ErrandG provides the platform for posting errands, connecting users, processing payments, and facilitating communication. We do not personally buy, carry, or inspect items as part of an errand.
Nothing in these Terms creates an employment, agency, or partnership relationship between ErrandG and any user or runner.
Runners are users who have been approved to complete errands through ErrandG. Being approved as a Runner does not create an employment relationship between the Runner and ErrandG.
ErrandG facilitates the connection and transaction between posters and runners but does not guarantee the conduct, availability, speed, or quality of any user or runner.
4. User Responsibilities
Users agree to:
- Provide accurate delivery locations, item details, budgets, and contact information.
- Keep confirmation codes, payment details, and account access confidential.
- Treat other users and ErrandG staff or representatives with respect.
- Use the platform only for lawful and permitted campus errands.
- Provide accurate information when posting, accepting, or completing an errand.
Users must not:
- Post fake, misleading, fraudulent, or harmful errands.
- Request illegal, unsafe, or age-restricted activities.
- Bypass in-app payments or ask another user to make or receive payment outside ErrandG.
- Impersonate another person or use someone else’s photo or personal information without permission.
- Misuse errand funds, float, payment information, or confirmation codes.
- Harass, threaten, abuse, or intentionally cause harm to another user.
You are responsible for protecting any codes, payment details, and account information you choose to share. ErrandG is not responsible for losses resulting from your failure to keep such information secure.
We may remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, or take other appropriate action when users violate these rules or misuse the platform.
5. Posted Errands
When you post an errand, you are responsible for providing accurate information about the task, item details, budget, delivery location, and any relevant instructions.
Posting an errand does not guarantee that a runner will accept or complete it.
You may cancel an errand according to the cancellation rules shown in the app. Cancellation may affect refunds and any reasonable costs or time already incurred by a runner.
Runners may ask for clarification, report unavailable items or inaccurate information, request confirmation of spending, or decline an errand that is unsafe, unlawful, or unclear.
ErrandG may review, remove, or restrict errands that violate these Terms or may create safety, legal, or platform risks.
We do not guarantee that an errand will be accepted, completed within a particular time, or completed in a particular manner.
6. Runner Responsibilities
Runners agree to:
- Accept only lawful, safe, and feasible errands they are able to complete.
- Handle errand funds, items, and personal information carefully.
- Follow the instructions provided for an accepted errand and keep the poster informed when necessary.
- Report problems, delays, unavailable items, or other issues through the app as soon as reasonably possible.
- Use float or errand funds only for the accepted errand and for the purpose for which they were provided.
- Not accept an errand they do not reasonably intend or expect to complete.
- Keep confirmation and delivery codes confidential and use them only for the relevant errand.
- Return or settle any errand funds or float as required by the app after completing or ending an errand.
- Comply with ErrandG’s Runner requirements, safety rules, and platform policies.
7. Services, Payments, and Float
7.1 Campus errands
- A poster pays the required item budget and service fee through the app.
- A runner may accept an available errand, or the poster may select a runner where that flow is available.
- Funds are released, refunded, or otherwise handled according to the completion, cancellation, refund, or dispute rules applicable to the errand.
7.2 Payments
- Payments are processed through third-party payment providers, such as Flutterwave.
- Funds may be held or processed according to the status of the errand until completion, cancellation, refund, or resolution of a dispute.
- ErrandG is not responsible for delays, failures, reversals, outages, or other issues caused by third-party payment providers, banks, or financial institutions.
- We may delay, suspend, reverse, or investigate a transaction where we reasonably suspect fraud, abuse, an error, or a violation of these Terms.
7.3 Runner Float
- Float is not available to all Runners. ErrandG may make Float available only to selected Runners based on factors such as account history, successful errand completion, reliability, compliance with platform rules, and other eligibility requirements.
- Where Float is enabled for an eligible Runner, the Runner may choose to receive a limited advance to pay for items required for an accepted errand.
- Choosing Float deducts a ₦100 Float fee from the Runner’s reward. A Runner who uses their own money does not pay the Float fee and receives the applicable full reward.
- Float may only be used for the accepted errand and is not personal spending money, a salary, or a general-purpose loan.
- The Runner must settle the Float advance according to the instructions and timeframe shown in the app.
- Unsettled Float, misuse of Float, or repeated failure to settle Float may result in Float access being restricted, payouts being held, or the Runner account being restricted or suspended.
8. Bank Details, Data, and Privacy
If you want to receive payouts from ErrandG, you must provide accurate and valid bank details.
You are responsible for ensuring that your bank and payout information is accurate and up to date.
We may require additional personal or account information to verify your identity, process payouts, prevent fraud, or provide certain features.
We process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy, including information you provide when creating an account, using the platform, completing errands, or making payments.
You may request access to or correction of your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Refunds, Support, and Disputes
9.1 Refunds
- If no Runner accepts an errand within the applicable time, you may cancel and request a refund where the app allows it.
- Report non-delivery, missing items, incorrect items, or other problems within 24 hours of the expected completion time where reasonably possible.
- Refunds may be full or partial depending on the circumstances, the portion of the errand completed, any valid costs incurred, and the evidence available.
- Refunds are processed according to the applicable refund rules shown in the app.
9.2 Support
- You may contact ErrandG support through the available support channels when you experience a problem with an errand, payment, account, or other platform feature.
- We may review and provide assistance on verified issues based on the information and evidence available.
9.3 Disputes
- If a dispute arises between users regarding an errand, payment, item, or completion, ErrandG may review the available information and evidence to determine the appropriate platform action.
- We aim to review disputes within 7–14 business days, although some cases may take longer depending on their complexity.
- You may appeal a dispute decision within 7 days by providing relevant new information or evidence.
- ErrandG may make reasonable adjustments to payments, refunds, or account access based on the outcome of a dispute review.
10. Prohibited Activities
Users must not:
- Commit fraud, scams, theft, or impersonation.
- Post or request illegal goods, services, or activities.
- Post fake, misleading, or intentionally harmful errands.
- Harass, threaten, abuse, or discriminate against another user.
- Circumvent or attempt to circumvent ErrandG payments, Float, Runner approval, or other platform systems.
- Misuse errand funds, Float, payment information, confirmation codes, or another user’s account.
- Upload or share another person’s photo, private information, or personal data without permission or a lawful basis.
- Attempt to manipulate, exploit, or interfere with the platform, its payment systems, or other users.
Violations may result in:
- Suspension, restriction, or termination of the account or access to specific features.
- Restriction of Runner or Float access.
- Holding or withholding funds where reasonably necessary to investigate or resolve a violation, subject to applicable law.
- Reporting suspected illegal activity to the appropriate authorities where required or appropriate.
11. Intellectual Property
The ErrandG name, logo, app, software, platform, designs, interfaces, features, and other content provided by ErrandG belong to ErrandG or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of content you upload or submit to ErrandG, such as profile photos, errand descriptions, and other user-generated content.
By uploading or submitting content to ErrandG, you grant ErrandG a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, reproduce, and use that content as reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, improve, and promote the service.
You are responsible for ensuring that content you upload or submit does not infringe another person’s intellectual property, privacy, or other legal rights.
You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the ErrandG app, software, branding, or platform content except as permitted by law or with our written permission.
12. User Content and Identity
A profile photo is optional. If you upload one, other users may see it on your profile, errands, chats, Runner-related features, leaderboards, and other areas of the platform where your profile is displayed.
You can change or remove your profile photo from your account. Removing it does not necessarily erase copies already stored in backups, records of completed transactions, or other systems for as long as they are reasonably needed for legitimate business, legal, security, or operational purposes.
Your username, selected campus, ratings, profile information, and optional profile photo may be visible to other users so they can identify and interact with the person they are dealing with.
ErrandG does not guarantee the identity, background, qualifications, or reliability of any user or Runner.
You must not impersonate another person or provide false information about your identity.
13. Warranties and Disclaimers
The ErrandG platform is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
ErrandG does not guarantee the availability of Posters, Runners, or any particular errand or service.
ErrandG does not guarantee that an errand will be accepted, completed within a particular time, or completed in a particular manner.
ErrandG does not guarantee the conduct, accuracy, reliability, or performance of any user or Runner.
Users acknowledge that using a platform that connects students to complete errands may involve risks such as delays, loss, damage, incorrect items, or misconduct by other users.
ErrandG may temporarily suspend, restrict, or limit access to the platform or specific features for maintenance, upgrades, security, investigation, or other operational reasons.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights or protections that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, ErrandG’s liability arising from or relating to the platform or an errand is limited to the greater of ₦50,000 or the total fees paid by you to ErrandG during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
ErrandG is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited under Nigerian law.
15. Account Suspension and Termination
ErrandG may suspend, restrict, or terminate an account or access to specific features where there is suspected fraud, unsafe conduct, Float misuse, payment abuse, violation of these Terms, or other activity that may harm users or the platform.
Users may appeal a suspension, restriction, or termination within 7 days where an appeal option is available.
ErrandG may hold or restrict access to funds or Float during an investigation, dispute, refund process, or where reasonably necessary to prevent fraud or misuse, subject to applicable law.
Users may stop using ErrandG at any time, subject to any outstanding obligations relating to completed errands, payments, refunds, or Float.
16. Force Majeure
ErrandG is not responsible for delays, interruptions, or failure to perform its obligations where caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including network or internet failures, payment-provider outages, power failures, government actions, natural disasters, civil unrest, or other unforeseen circumstances.
17. Changes to Terms
ErrandG may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the platform, features, policies, or applicable requirements.
Where changes are significant, we will provide notice through the app or other reasonable means and may require you to accept the updated Terms before continuing to use affected features.
If you continue using ErrandG after updated Terms become effective, your continued use will constitute acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Where a dispute arises, the parties should first attempt to resolve it through ErrandG’s internal support and dispute process.
If a dispute cannot be resolved through the applicable internal process, it may be referred to a court or other dispute-resolution process with appropriate jurisdiction under applicable Nigerian law.
19. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, users agree to indemnify and hold harmless ErrandG, its officers, affiliates, and partners from claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising from:
